For schools, academy trusts and facilities teams, site-specific documentation can be provided as required, including insurance details, risk assessments, method statements and agreed safeguarding arrangements. Requirements are confirmed with the site before work begins.
Programme and access
Works can be programmed across holiday windows or, where agreed, around term-time access and occupied buildings. Materials, deliveries and individual phases are coordinated around the school’s requirements.
Quotations and schedules
Scope, quotation and a project schedule are set out before work begins, so site and facilities teams can see what will happen and when.
Communication on site
Day-to-day contact sits with the site and facilities team so the programme stays aligned with the school.
Planned maintenance
Alongside project work, LJ provides planned plumbing and heating maintenance for schools and education estates.

Gas Safe and OFTEC registration are published on this site. Insurance details, risk assessments, method statements and agreed safeguarding arrangements can be provided as the site requires.

Bishop Loveday Primary School
Bloxham, Oxfordshire. Summer 2025.
Four toilet blocks, refurbished over the summer break and handed back for the first day of term.
Old basins were replaced with semi-countertop units that conceal pipework and safety valves. Self-closing pillar taps reduce waste. Toilets were upgraded with fast-filling cisterns and dual flush plates. Waterproof wall boards went into the wet areas. Cubicle doors were renewed in a clean, neutral finish. The rooms were redecorated with J Coates Decorating. New flooring was supplied and fitted by Sherfield Flooring.
The works were carefully programmed across the summer holiday, with materials, access and individual phases coordinated around the school’s requirements. All four washroom areas were completed and handed back ready for the beginning of the new academic year.
